Hooked is an online content monetizing network that helps developers monetize on their games, helps publishers offer their readers fun and sticky content and helps advertisers reach a very engaged target audience.

The Hooked Player is a fun and sticky player that you can customize to fit the look and feel of your site. You can add some of the best online casual games into the player and offer your users some engaging content that is fun, free and contextually relevant.
This sticky feature can increase website stickiness and increase time spent on site. This is just another reason to keep your users coming back to your site and offer them content that interests them.

How easy is it to add games to my site? How do I create a player?
After your site has been approved, just sign in, create a player, add games and generate a simple embed code. Just copy and paste this code into anywhere you want the games to show up on your site.
What kinds of games does Hooked offer publishers?
Hooked offers a wide range of games that will fit your users' interests. You can search by category (Puzzle, Action, Arcade, etc.) or type (Women's, Parenting, Fashion, Sports, Humor, etc.)
What are the costs?
There are no costs at all. The Hooked games are just additional revenue for you.
Are there terms to joining Hooked? Can I stop anytime I want?
There are no terms which mean you can start and stop anytime you wish. You can try it out and see if it is a good fit with your site. If not, you can remove the player(s) anytime you wish.
How much money can I make?
We serve video pre-rolls and banner ads within the games so you make money on every game play as well as monetize on the duration of game play. The CPMs range depending on the specific ad campaigns that we are running.
Publishers receive a percentage of the ad revenue that gets generated from the games being played on your site. The more the games get played, the more money you make. You can view transparent reporting and tracking via the Hooked Publisher Portal.
Is there exclusivity? Do I only have to work with Hooked?
There is no exclusivity which means you can work with us as well as work with anyone else on making money on your site.
Where do I go to see how much money I have made?
You can view transparent reporting and tracking via the Hooked Publisher portal. You can run specific reports as well as view a quick dashboard/overview of your earnings.
How often is the reporting and tracking data updated?
The reporting is updated real-time. Log in anytime to view this data.
What are the payment terms? When do I get paid? How do I get paid?
Payments are Net 60. Payments are sent on the 20th of every month. Choose your preferred payment method: PayPal or by check.
Is there a minimum amount that I need to make in order to get paid?
Yes - the minimum amount of revenue that you need to make is $25.
What player type and player size is right for my site?
We have a variety of flexible player types and sizes that you can choose from.
Choose from 1) Games Page, 2) Single Game Player and 3) Expandable Thumbnail Player.
The best performing player is the Games Page; just add a 'Games' section or tab on your top hand navigation bar and copy and paste the embed code for the Games Page onto a blank page. This is a full-size Game Player that takes up a whole page.
We also have other player types like the Single Game Player that holds 1 game that your users can quickly play; you can also create a Games section by adding thumbnails and multiple Single Game Players on unique landing pages.
If you have a blog and don't have space for some of the larger players, you can add an Expandable Thumbnail Player onto your left or right hand side bar - which comes in some of the smallest sizes and takes up little to no real estate on your site.
Can I also add other advertising onto the pages with Hooked game players?
Yes. Feel free to use the Hooked game players as additional free content that already comes with its own monetizing value! Feel free to add your own advertising onto the pages with the Hooked games - add your own leader boards or skyscrapers to monetize on these landing pages further.
Do my users have to go somewhere else to play the games on my site?
No. All the games are fully embedded onto your site; users stay on your site and go nowhere else. We are always trying to keep your users staying on your site and increasing time spent on your site.
Do the games affect the load time on my site?
No. The games are all hosted on our site so this should not affect the load time on your site at all.
Can I pick which games are in my player?
Yes. You can pick and choose from hundreds of games that you think would work best for your site's demographics. Just create a player and add the games you want in them. If you prefer, we can also help choose the games for your site as well.
How many players can I create?
You can create as many players as you want.
How many games can I put in each player?
For the Games Page and the Expandable Thumbnail Player, you can add an unlimited amount of games to the player; we suggest a maximum of 50 games. For the Single Game Player, you can only add 1 game.
Can I add Hooked games onto more than 1 site?
Yes. You can add games onto more than 1 site. The more sites you add the games onto, the more money you can make.
What kind of advertising will show up in the Hooked players?
Hooked works with premium US brand advertisers. We only show advertising that is family-friendly and children-friendly.
How do I take the games off of my site?
All you have to do is remove the embed code that you originally added onto your site.
I have signed up for a Publisher Account. When will I know whether I have been approved?
Your Publisher Registration will be reviewed and someone will get back to you within 72 hours. If you did not hear back from someone, please email publishers@hookedmediagroup.com.
Do I need to create two separate accounts if I am both a Publisher and a Developer?
For now, you will need to create separate accounts as a Publisher and a Developer. We are developing a service that will allow users to merge the two accounts together; this will be available in the future.
The players don't work on my site games or I am experiencing some technical issues with the players or on the website. Who do I go to for help?
Email inquiries@hookedmediagroup.com and fill in 'Publisher Account - Technical Issue' in the Subject. Please provide your site url, your name and a brief description of the issue you are experiencing, including what browser and version you are using so someone from our Tech Team can assist you. If you can provide a test link and/or screenshots of what you see, that would help us help you quicker.
How do I cancel my account?
Email publishers@hookedmediagroup.com and provide your site url, first and last name and email address and we will deactivate your account. The games on your site will no longer work and you will no longer be able to log into your account.
